The Cricut and the vinyl cutter are two very similar machines. The vinyl cutter, as the name suggests, is for cutting vinyl. With it you can make single color labels, decals, stickers, and much more. The Cricut can also cut vinyl, but is smaller so any prints will also have to be on a smaller scale. In addition to vinyl, the Cricut can cut fabric, chipboard, leather, basswood, and cardstock, as well as do calligraphy.
